Our text, Night is a written account of a young man's survival in the face of adversity, hate, and turbulent times. He shares his story of survival, doubts, fears, and the challenges he experienced throughout his time in the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration and extermination camp.
I have included a virtual tour to provide you with a visual landscape of his surroundings and to "paint a picture" as you read the text. This virtual tour "Inside Auschwitz" is unique, as it is guided by the stories of three survivors of the Holocaust: Anita Lasker-Wallfisch, Philomena Franz, and Walentyna Nikodem. Their stories offer a female perspective and additional insight into the trauma and horror experienced in the concentration and extermination camp.
