Good morning Eagleview students!
As we move through the quad, I am posting a reminder as to the Module, which we will be working on through remote/ online learning.
For Module 5/6, you will be working on a novel study. If you look online, you will see that there are two different tabs/ headings for the students enrolled in our class.
ELA A30 students- You will be working on a memoir novel study "Dear Current Occupant", which will encourage you to think about race issues from a bi-racial girl living in the Hastings area (Vancouver). It is divided into parts and you will need to read and reflect on the content and big idea questions. Please email me your reflections. The memoir is included in the postings and you do need to read the text to complete the assignments.
ELA A31 students- You will be working on a graphic novel/ comic book "The Outside Circle", which will encourage you to look at multi-generational trauma and the path to healing a young FN man faces. You will practice different reading strategies and will need to read the comic book and connect to the reading strategy. You will practice 6 different reading strategies. Please use Google forms to complete your assignment, which are included in the posts.
