Justice and Fairness Reflection Questions -

Make connections to text-world, text-text, and text-self as you reflection on the questions outlined below:
Text-World Connection: Connection between the texts and events in the world. 
Text-Text Connection: Connection between the texts/ mediums you have read/ watched/ listened.
Text-Self Connection: Connection between texts and your life/ personal experiences. 

B30 students: Choose 3 of the 6 question prompts and answer in paragraph (5-7 sentences) format using proper grammar and language conventions. Please organize into a short 3 paragraph essay. 
B31 students: Choose 2 of the 6 question prompts and answer in paragraph (5-7 sentences) format using proper grammar and language conventions. You may organize your thoughts into long answer format. 

Justice/ Fairness/ Equality Questions
  • According to the speaker, who determines what is just? What is fair? Consider, class, gender, and race. 
  • Is justice fair? Include specific examples from the documentary. 
  • Think about his speech, why does justice sting? Why are the individuals/ family members speaking out? Explain 
  • What is the reality of justice? (personal opinion)
  • What factors interfere with the path of justice? 
  • How or does each speaker/ individual consider equity, equality, and liberation?
